ENGINE2023 SCHOOL in Grenoble (France) - 11-14 April, 2023

IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION : REGISTRATION ARE STILL OPEN!

Eco-efficient and safer energy production and storage are key issues for our society. Electrochemical energy conversion devices such as batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells, electrolyzers are of interest thanks to their great performance, durabillity, and safety. Finely understanding all the phenomena at stake in these devices within the materials and at the different interfaces is of importance. In this context, the third edition of the grEnoble eNerGy conversIoN & storagE (ENGINE2023) school offers a theoretical and practical training related to electrochemistry for energy applications across all relevant length scales (from local (nm) to bulk (cm)).

The school will focus on the understanding and electrochemical characterizations of selected Key Enabling Technologies, namely:

  • Proton exchange membrane fuel cells
  • Hydrogen production and storage devices
  • All-solid-state batteries
  • Electrolyzers

For its 3rd edition, ENGINE2023 offers courses in electrochemistry, topical and invited seminars from academics and industries, and a visit of the ESRF synchrotron X-ray source with talks from beamline scientists. In additon, all the attendees are encouraged to present their work during poster sessions.
